DISPOSITION OR WHAT JUDGE IS PRESIDING OVER MY CASE?

HOW DO I GET A CASH BOND BACK?

To receive a cash bond back, you will need to obtain
a cash bond release form signed by the Deputy Clerk at the County
Court at Law Office.
To pick up a check you will need to bring the cash bond
release form signed by the Deputy Clerk along with a picture ID to the
County Clerk's office.
WHAT IS A (FOD) FILE OPENING DOCUMENT?
For administrative purposes, a file is created in County Court @ Law
when a person is booked into Collin County Justice Center on a misdemeanor
charge.

The District
Attorney's Office at 972-548-3602.
HOW DO I RESCHEDULE A COURT DATE?
The defendant must appear in person before the Criminal Court Clerk for
his/her assigned court.
DO I NEED AN ATTORNEY?
The law does not require you to have an attorney present at your court
date. If you can not afford an attorney you can apply for a court appointed
attorney at your first court appearance. Court appointed attorney fees
will be added to your court costs.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR A COURT APPOINTMENT ATTORNEY?
At your first court appearance, contact the bailiff for the appropriate
forms.
HOW DO I FIND OUT FINES AND COURT COSTS?
To find out the balance of fines and court costs due on a case, or to
make payment arrangements, please contact the County Court at Law Clerks at 972-548-6420.
