Normal business hours aren’t always convenient.

Our Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, recognized that and so, in order to make court available to you when it really helps, JP-1 is now open late for business every Thursday evening.  Now, in addition to their regular 8:30 am to 4:00 pm hours on Monday-Wednesday and Friday, this court is open every Thursday from 8:30 am until 7:00 pm!

Judge Raleeh thought that it was unfair to expect the public to take care of tickets, file, respond to a law suit or conduct other court business only when most people have to take time off of work to get to court… so now you have time on Thursdays to do just that.  And JP-1 is able to do it at no additional taxpayer expense!

So if you have legal business to conduct at JP-1, take advantage of their new Thursday evening hours! 

JP-1 is on the first floor of the Jack Hatchell County Administration building at 2300 Bloomdale Road, McKinney (located west of the county courthouse).
