Collin County Health Care Foundation announces grant funding opportunity

(McKinney, TX) – The Collin County Health Care Foundation is once again announcing the availability of grant funding for health-oriented projects and programs. A total amount of $200,000 will be granted to organizations throughout the county. Awards are expected to not exceed more than $25,000 for each organization. Preferences will be given to proposals that address the health and well-being of county residents; that promote volunteer participation and citizen involvement in the project; that target at-risk, underserved or vulnerable populations; and that demonstrate new approaches and techniques in the solution of community problems.

Last year, six programs shared in $147,425 in grant funding for their facilities and outreach programs.

Completed applications are due Thursday, June 30th by 4 p.m. and may be mailed or hand delivered to: Collin County Health Care Foundation, Attn: Grants Committee c/o Michelle Patrick, 210 S.
