New County Commissioner Precinct Lines Approved
(McKinney, Texas) - The Collin County Commissioners Court voted 5-0 this afternoon to establish new commissioner precinct boundary lines. The newly configured precincts, based on 2010 census population counts, will take effect on January 1, 2012, pending formal approval by the United States Justice Department. County Commissioner elections, beginning with the next set of elections in 2012 (Precincts one and three), will be run on these new precinct lines.
