Last day to register to vote for November General Election is Oct. 11, 2011

(McKINNEY, Texas) -- Voter Registration Applications must be postmarked Oct. 11, 2011, to qualify to vote in the Nov. 8, 2011, General Election. Be sure you drop them in the mail prior to the postal pick- up time.

Collin County’s Elections Office cannot accept faxed or emailed applications to register to vote.  They must have voters’ original signature on applications.

Applications may be brought to the Elections Office, located at 2010 Redbud Blvd., Suite 102, McKinney, TX 75069.  Please call 972-547-1900 or visit our website at www.collincountytx.gov for directions.

Residents can also download an application to register to vote from the county website, or the Texas Secretary of State’s website, www.sos.state.tx.us.
