First day of early voting for November General Election is Oct. 24, 2011

(McKINNEY, Texas) – The first day of Early Voting for the November General Election is Monday, Oct. 24, 2011.

Early voting is a convenient way to cast your ballot in person, as registered voters may go to  any early voting location until Nov. 4, 2011.

Poll times for the first week are:

• Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Sunday: 1-6 p.m.

The last week of early voting, polls will be open:

• Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all locations.
